♥Saturday: Reid Brothers architectural ride
via sf-now.com (tip hat to mi amiga Diana for reminding me!!)
“The first of what has become a repeating tradition of bicycle tours of the Reid Brothers architectural works in San Francisco took place on 12 January 2008, led by Andy Thornley of the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, starting at 1:30 in the afternoon (a fine, dry, clement afternoon) in front of the David Hewes Building at 995 Market Street.”

I didn’t do the ride last year and only briefly stopped by, ran into Brad (above) also taking some snaps, as well as capturing Phi, who was featured in the “What to Wear” for Momentum magazine [link]

=) TGIF and have a great weeekend!!!
For the holidays and this end of 2010 coming closer and faster than ever, I decided to donate and give back to two of my favorite events and causes of the year.
This year I am giving two posters from the last two years of Artcrank for the Supermarket Street Sweep.
I have also donated the original drawing-piece behind this year’s ArtCrank poster, for auction at winterfest.
It is known that nothing arrives or leaves my house for that fact, without the most beautiful black cat in the world inspecting it.

*The BW image above, was taken in the back-of-house of Faye’s video.
With all these VHS, it made me think of BETA tapes. Ooooh and off the poster went into a timewrap!!
See you all this weekend!

SO MUCH FUNNNNNNNN!
I am *sooo* happy this north end of the city gets some love. I’m one of the only ones out of my close circle of peeps to ride this on a constant basis, though I haven’t for awhile on a daily basis.
Ooooooh I love that North Point got a bike lane!!
Here is the event, if you are free, please check it out – I’ll be there in spirit =)

Info provided from Lynne:
Along with the rest of SFBC’s Climate Ride Team, I am hosting a fundraising event in the form of a shopping party at Sports Basement, 1590 Bryant Street btwn Alameda and 15th, Wed Aug 18, 6-8pm. There will be free beer, wine, music and a raffle – possibly with a bike.
20% of all purchases will go to support SFBC’s Climate Ride Team. (Please note the usual Sports Basement 10% SFBC discount will not be in effect during the fundraiser.) 40% of all the SFBC Climate Ride Team will go back to SFBC. So so far we have raised nearly $12, 000, so we expect to net SFBC a fair chunk of change.
If you are in need of any equipment, clothing or accessories for biking or any other activity, please consider coming out to the party. Or just drop by and have a beer and wish us well.
