From my elbow to yours

-De La Caffeinated-

Happy Wednesday, again. I’ll probably be drinking a whole french-press pot a to myself before 8AM today. Thought I’d like to share my latest half-pound of heaven. Throughout this blog I have probably posted a gazillion of coffee shops and my caffeine addiction is well known. We are very lucky here in the Bay Area to have access to wonderful local coffee companies and I can’t say that enough. I found out about De La Paz by randomly walking into a local market about 2 years ago. It can now be found in many local coffee shops, including (above) Trouble’s Elbow Grease. Yum.
Did I mention they do all their deliveries by bicycle?! Good thing I haven’t cross paths with the delivery coffee bike because, the cargo will be going in my basket. OKAY, don’t say I didn’t warn you De La Paz!!! xo/♥meligrosa

Centurized

April 10, 2009 2 Comments

Meet Dusty’s new ride! He got his Centurion beauty from Citizen Chain. Now all Dusty wants to do is ride his bike all day. Exactly. We can all relate.

He left his heart on his shirt.

What’s the plan? There’s no plan boys, it’s Sunday.

Big props to Fossil Fool & the Rock the Bike staff, and featured musicians/performers for the good times.
Enjoy!

Momma said bike you out

March 17, 2009 12 Comments

The wonders of the internet. Last week, I met up with the coolest mom on wheels around the city. We chatted, ate some yummy crepes and of course coffee, over at a cozy spot in the city. Busbozo has a very inspiring flickr stream that makes me smile all the time.
Her bike is a Batavus Socorro. Which she said to be the yacht of bikes. Next time I’m going to just hop on and try it, looks super comfy! It’s like a swiss army knife ride, coffee holder included nonetheless, and a nice child seat included for her heartbraker-to-be, riding with her everywhere around the city. ♥Ride on, lovely duo! It was great meeting you.

I wanted to post some pictures I quite forgot about.
This below, is at the ferry bldg. Local bicycle company sycip makes beautiful handcrafted goodies. I’ve never bought anything at this Boccalone shop, but always wanted to take that attractive lovely bike of theirs for delivery joy ride. Someday…

Empty space on 3rd. Future coffee stand?..
