Well no better audio treat than with this fine duo:

Sure that a femme fatale in New York City seeks out a pair of pale blue eyes today.
Do do doo, do do dododo.

To the man in black: Happy birthday, Johnny Cash.

February 26, 2013 12 Comments

John R. Cash

Born on February 26, 1932 in Kingsland, Arkansas.

Died September 12, 2003 Nashville, Tennessee.

John R. “Johnny” Cash was an American singer-songwriter, actor, and author who was considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. -wiki

“I’d like to wear a rainbow every day, and tell the world that everything is o.k.
But I’ll try to carry off a little darkness on my back.
Until things are brighter, I’m the Man in Black.”

Counting the days to get a set of his stamps.
Date of release not yet known.
Hot. Damn.
The forever stamp, which will be square to resemble a 45 rpm record sleeve, is based off a photograph of the “Walk the Line” singer in 1963, as he recorded “Ring of Fire: The Best of Johnny Cash.” The stamp will be released later this year and will cost the same as any other stamp — a newly raised 46 cents. –Johnny Cash to grace new postage stamps via CNNMoney.

To the man in black
The best thing I found in Hollywood, asides a dark cool dive bar, with cold beer and a Keith Richards Shrine. It does exist, and we found it – not far from the main touristy Boulevard stretch.

I find it very, very easy to be true

I find myself alone when each day is through

Yes, I’ll admit that I’m a fool for you

I’ve started to play a significant amount of Johnny Cash again in the last few weeks.
Comes and goes, but has mostly lingered for many years.

Which are your favorite singles? Or favorite memories while listening a song?
Knowing my audience quite good, I know that at least one of you got to see him in concert, perhaps before I was born..

“it’s the idependent now

I had posted about Lynch, Ev Williams (Co-founder of blogger.com +Twitter) and tweets in 2009 [Feb. 23, 2009: Tweets and the City]. His twitter account is not as constant, but very Lynch. Here is a funny video of Lynch confirming his account @david_lynch, four years ago:

With a tremendous prismatic repertoire in the film industry, his own organic signature coffee +that sexy gray hair, we wish you a happy birthday señor Lynch.

One of my favorites is Blue Velvet (1986), amongst many – yours?

It’s Dolly Parton’s birthday +I uploaded mi first youtube video 🙂
This band is called Three Cord Justice and they were an excellent live music treat at Pioneertown’s Pappy & Harriet’s. The clip below is Act Naturally [by by Buck Owens & His Buckaroos] and next they sang Jolene – which I didn’t record. I enjoyed it in its entirety holding my beer ♥
This was just recorded from the LX5 and uploaded unedited:

And just for kicks here is one of Velcro’s first pictures a day or two after I adopted her. I was Dolly Parton for Halloween 2008.

*Made with this silly fun Bday card social Dolly page.

By the way, has anyone seen ‘The Year Dolly Parton was My Mom“?

Happy Birthday, you legendary awesome working girl, you ♥
