Today’s weather was extremely nice and sunny. The SFmade holiday gift fair is currently happening in Fort Mason (ends at 6PM), got to check some of the local made vendor scene. It was great to see a few familiar faces and be introduced to new ones. Here are some fotos:
So happy to see Ariana from Brown Owl Coffee, here with the booth for Hearth Coffee.

A Sutro tower coat rack, so rad.
Over 4 years ago –wait, what?!– I posted about a new donut place on 24th [Cop Diet Special] serving Portland’s darling Stumptown coffee (at that time). Dynamo donuts has since switched to our own local darling Four barrel coffee.
From the Mission to the Marina green, the donuts have arrived to a little kiosk on a very walkable area between the yacht club and the beginning path on Crissy field which leads to Fort Point. For those of you outside the Bay Area, this is rather close to the Golden Gate Bridge and that creamy dome peeking into one of the images below is the Palace of the Fine Arts, also a nice green area to walk around or read a book +BYOCoffee.
Previously, the kiosk sold basic snacks +beverages and they did sell San Francisco’s finest It’s Its! so that was cool. I loved the old sign there, this was taken September of 2009:
Got to check out the place, shortly after it stopped raining so there was not many people out and about at all, great time to roam the green areas, such fresh feeling.
This place is gerat to drink some coffee with a simple but full espresso bar, and eating donuts while sitting down and watching tons of exercising bunnies hop on by.
I loved the bright orange, nice touch of colour.
While people watching and seeing all the exercising bunnies go about their way, I’m going to do the complete opposite and enjoy myself by eating a donut, or two. For those roaming with your 4-legged best friends, there’s dog donuts 🙂

Friday Dec. 7th: Toy Drive by SF Yellow Bike y SF Bike Party
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — San Francisco Bike Party (SFBP) and San Francisco Yellow Bike Project (SFYBP) are joining forces on Friday, December 7, 2012 to gather toys and bikes for children for the upcoming holiday season. The toys will be given to a local fire station at the end of the ride on Friday night. The bikes will be inspected and repaired by SFYBP before being distributed to kids via a school-based bike swap.
The two organizations will be collecting toys and bikes for one night only during the monthly SFBP ride. They are asking the public to please bring any new and unwrapped toys to any of the resting locations during the ride. The ride will gather at McCovey Cove around 7:30 pm. There will be two stops at South Park in SOMA and Pier 7 along the Embarcadero. Please check SFBP’s twitter (@sfbikeparty) for the rest area drop off times on Friday, December 7th. The ending location will be Showplace Triangle at the intersection of 16th and 8th streets at approximately 11pm.
People who ride with SFBP and bring a toy or bike parts will be given a spoke card.
The organizations want to encourage all of the community, including those who cannot ride SFBP, to give toys and any used bikes or bike parts to this toy drive.
San Francisco Bike Party is on the first Friday of every month, and their mission is to build community through biking.

Solange Knowles +her orange bike
Because today has been such a good day, I’m taking advantage with these shiny forces of the universe. Sun, Sol, Solange: this bright lone star with great music genes +showing that celebrities are just like us, well at least sometimes, out in town +with their bikes.
Solange has a very fun fashion style, she was featured in Vogue’s ‘Best Looks of 2012″. La CTX is working on a plan to raid her closet (+maybe now her bike too!) +we have enjoyed exchanging myriads of images +links this whole year ogling over her what-she-wore fotos around the internets. I like to see her doing her own thing while slowly separating herself from her big sister’s shadow.
We are fans.
In the 2012 set, she is wearing beautifully tailored outfits, colour +patterns bursts, DJing +above she is spotted walking her bike –big red purse included– along the Hudson River, NYC // via Vogue: Solange Knowles’s Best Looks of the Year
