A few days ago I got to hang out with Reesie. We had some coffee, chatted, rode thru some shortcuts, and some hills. I was happy to see her new addition to her bikey family, she recently started riding this beauty of a blue Raleigh mixte. Oh so beautiful! Blue bikes rock.
We rode from the Mission to Noe Valley and then we split, both meeting friends for brunch.
Blue bikes, boots, brunch. Bawesome.
A very nice young guy was kind enough to take our picture 😀
Then he recommended we faced the sun. I think he wanted to get that purple bldg. in the background he heee…
My pal Will has organizes every year Scatterbrain Jamboree, a music fundraiser event that takes place this Friday and Saturday at Thee Parkside. I made the little flier for it, always have a soft spot for fundraisers and non-profits. I’m very very happy I got to pitch in my 2 cents. Click on it to enlarge – or go to its Facebook page to see the band lineup as well as their links here: Facebook Scatterbrain Jamboree 2010 Also, Tshirts will be for sale $10 and it all goes to the SF AIDS foundation. yay
So as most desired new spots-to-check out were out of reach, we headed to trusty Sightglass on 7th. As always the coffee is awesome, they carry Verve (from Santa Cruz) coffee beans and the energy for such a small place (that -size- will change very soon) is quite vibrant. I hearts this place!!
I tried to check out Sohberts coffee shop on King street between 2nd/3rd street last weekend. Some of my good geek sources claim that the coffee is pretty good. I forget those geek sources work there, and say don;t roll out of bed to get their coffee there, so me lurking their shop on Saturday morning didn’t coincide with their hours, too bad because it looks super cute from the outside and all I hear are good things about it.
Have any of you been there?! I know they serve Equator coffee and that is one of the main reasons I wanted to stop by, soon I suppose, I’ll check it out 😀
